At The Salty Dog we believe that our great local produce gives a unique twist to some of the world’s classic bistro and pub dishes.
We pride ourselves on using Irish ingredients to create traditional dishes with a difference.
From breakfasts & bar snacks, to classic pub and restaurant dishes we work with local producers to bring the best of Ireland to the plate.
These are just some of the options for dining at the Salty Dog
Sausages from Ballyholme Meats, specially made breads from Central Bakery,
Sperrin Mountain granola and our famous homemade pancakes.
Coffee & Tea
Whether it is just a cup of Ristretto Coffee, a Neary Nogs Hot Chocolate or one of our selection from
Miss McKeown’s Emporium of Fine Teas enjoyed with a scone, pastries, a slice of cake
or Full Afternoon Tea with all the trimmings you can enjoy local at the Salty Dog
At the Salty Dog we are known for our cocktails, Northern Irish craft beers and our selection of gins and wines.
These dishes are designed to be nibbled at whilst swapping stories over one of the drinks
or indeed just a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
Classics & Bistro
Our main menu is split into two: The Classics – traditional Salty Dog dishes and traditional pub fair with a twist …
Such as the lightly pickled onions rings on the burger or the malt vinegar mayo for the battered & breaded fish and chips.
And The Bistro … this section features dishes using the finest local ingredients combined with the kitchen team’s imagination, a great combination.
Seasonal and local produce are used to create daily lunch and dinner specials
some in the classic style some in our bistro style.
Using great local meats for our roasts and other produce, as available, the Sunday Lunch menu is
available between 12:00 and 8:00 along with our classics and nibbles.
