Situated within a 2 minutes walk from Bangor's busy town centre, 50 yards from Ireland’s largest marina at the base of the Eisenhower Pier, the Salty Dog enjoys views over the Long Hole and Belfast Lough all the way to Scotland. Many of the rooms, including our spacious deluxe sea views, offer great spots to sit and watch the world go buy as yachts, motor boats, cargo ships and cruise ships pass up and down the busy waters.

We have 15 recently refurbished en suite rooms which include a family suite and twin rooms as well as the sea view rooms. Decorated in a variety of styles to the highest standard, they reflect the eclectic nature of Bangor itself. All rooms have televisions, tea trays, hairdryers and feature high quality linens and toiletries. Baths with high pressure showers for the get up and go and copious bath salts for the lie back and relax.

For those on the go our standard rooms offer a great place to base yourself for travels around North Down and indeed Northern Ireland. The complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the building means that you can stay connected.
