“We were welcomed most warmly, the room was nicely furnished without having had all the character modernised out of it and we were very pleased with our dinner. Tempting 'a la carte' menu but also a very good value 'menu of the day'. Staff all very friendly and helpful.”

On a summers day it is great sitting outside and enjoying The view. On this occasion we stayed down for the weekend, again The meal and wine selection was excellent, rooms were great and breakfast Was super! Will definitely be back

Had a very pleasant evening at The Salty Dog - food was great and service excellent. We were a party of six and no one had a bad meal. Views over the bay were lovely, especially as the lights came on across the water
